Safety & Training

Safety for our employees is a prime concern of this company. We want to take this opportunity to reaffirm our belief in a strong safety program that will continue to create and thus provide safe job sites for all employees to work.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Safety requires a team effort in order to succeed. Without this team effort, the company will not succeed. Safe practices will improve the safety of all personnel and ultimately reduce costs.

Any worker who has knowledge of equipment being used in an unsafe manner should immediately bring it to the attention of their Supervisor. Any employee who willfully disregards safe work practices specifically set forth in the Crossroads Environmental Health & Safety Program may be subject to disciplinary action that could include immediate termination.

All employees are required to maintain a safe workplace. For us to be successful and meet our objectives, all employees must actively support and participate in our safety program.

As an employee of our organization, you automatically accept a moral obligation to fellow employees and an economic obligation to the company to see that operations under your care, custody, and control are carried out in an efficient and safe manner.

Along with other responsibilities, safety consciousness must always exist in your thinking and planning. Because of this obligation, you must not only prevent obvious unsafe acts on the part of those you work with, but you must anticipate potential hazards. After an accident occurs, it is too late to prevent it. All employees must recognize that working in an unsafe manner is counterproductive. Most important, each employee is encouraged to demonstrate leadership ability by setting a good example.

Accidents cost time and money, but most of all, accidents can cause injuries to our workers.

We hope you will share our concern for maintaining safe conditions on all company job sites, because to make our Health & Safety Program effective all of us must work together. Help yourself and your co-employees to be aware and practice safe work habits.
